Salatiga is located in central java. Salatiga near mount Merbabu. The weather is very cool and many green public space for people spare the time. The famous tourism object is Kopeng and Ketep. These location can be reach about one hour from the city.

Salatiga also has high reputation of campus, Satya Wacana Christian University. The campus is located in the central of city. Many student come from domestic around Indonesia and also foreign country. That's way salatiga also called "education city".
